Folding Luggage

Spyderco was thinking of you when you developed the native knife. His goal was to design a handle that gives incredible cutting power with minimal hassle. Combine that with the most hyped of the year steel (S30V) and has a winner.

I recently took a Spyderco Native, and here are my thoughts.

What I like about the knife:

1. The grip feels really impressive hand.

It is made of glass reinforced nylon which is very resistant. Spyderco has also incorporated two separate fingers "Choils" to give it the ability to make almost any type of cut.

2. S30V steel gives the oxidation resistance of stainless steel with a pure resistance and edge holding ability of high-carbon steel. This type of commitment is a rarity in today's world knife.

3. The pocket clip is ambidextrous. This is a great advantage for all you lefties out there. It would be a shame for you to lose a large knife.

The clip is made of stainless steel is tough and hard like a knife.

4. Spyderco gives you some options with the knife natives. Here are a few:

• smooth or serrated edge
• Silver or black leaf
• Black, beige or silver handle

Overall:

Do not miss one of the best knives in 2008. The Spyderco Native is comfortable, reliable and looks great.

How to fix a wrinkle or fold in an oil painting canvas painting that crarcked?

While traveling to East Africa I bought a painting a local artist. It is not "valuable" but it is impossible for me to replace the sentimental value. I rolled up and placed in a tube, which unfortunately got crushed in my luggage on the way home. As expected, there are now a number of lines through the paint. Oil on canvas is rough and has wrinkles painting broken into several sections. I do not expect to be able to "fix" completely, but is there any way to minimize the loss of aesthetics? "I can apply solvent carefully mixing the cracked areas together? The heat? Thank you! I am happy to answer questions, etc. Happy New Year! David How restaurateurs charge? Try using a citrus-based solvent. You can get into an art store, is sold as a substitute for turpentine. Place the solvent in the cracked areas and wait until the paint becomes rubbery. Then carefully treat to mix the paint in the cracks. The heat may cause further damage such as cracks, so it is not recommended.
